After Piss in The Pool 7
Once again Piss in the Pool continues to be one of the highlights of the summer when it comes to dance in the city! This edition was praised for the quality and variety of the work with pieces that alternately were funny, challenging and touching. Thanks to our amazing audience who is up for anything that our choreographers throw at them. Congratulations also go out to Sasha Kleinplatz who was awarded the Fringe Flexi prize for most innovative choreography. See you all next year in the Pool!

“Wanted, Needed, Found…”
The Found series was a great sucess, making connections between all of the artists involved and presenters, critics, and dancers from europe and across North America.
Especially resonating with younger dance enthusiasts and presenters, the series offered an alternative platform to exchange ideas about dance during the FTA.
Check out these 2 reviews of the series from DF danse.

Now in its 7th year! Piss in the Pool gives nine emerging choreographers the opportunity to create and present site specific work. This exciting event moves experimental dance out of the theatre and into the Bain St.Michel, an empty indoor pool located in the heart of Plateau Montreal.
Great Review of the Found series in DF danse
The Found series was a crazy success. We got lot of great feedback from National and International presenters and made contacts that will last beyond these two weeks of presentations. This article reinforces our belief in this initiative which we are hoping to make an annual event. It’s written by Marion Gerbier.
It keeps getting better! Another amazing night at Short & Sweet for the FTA! If you missed it here are some great pics of the event by Celia Spenard-Ko
Two spirited Montreal-based organisations – Studio 303 and Wants&needs – are hosting informal presentations of dance works by a new guard of creators.
“The found studio series aims to bring attention to the work of eight choreographers making waves in Montreal’s dance underground. Running parallel to the FTA and OFF.T.A., this four-day event (in 2 cycles) invites presenters to view innovative choreographic work in a relaxed setting. Taking place at Studio 303, in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles, the found studio series offers a unique opportunity to meet and exchange with some of the most exciting players on the Montreal dance scene.”
Wi Fi access and refreshments will be available.
